Planet D Nonet Nominated for “Outstanding Jazz Recording” for “Salute to Strayhorn”

"Salute to Strayhorn", their follow up project was both endorsed and embraced by family of Billy Strayhorn. Their second release with Detroit Music Factory sailed up all of the jazz charts and remained there comfortably for quite a number of weeks as well as finding a home amongst over 300 radio stations around the country. It is now nominated for a Detroit Music Award. The show takes place May 5th, 2017 at the Fillmore in Detroit, MI. This Nonet is a multi award winner in recent years and they only continue to deliver great recordings.
